Dear readers,
The following poem is written in a French style of poetry known as a Kyrielle. It is made up of 4 lined stanzas of 8 syllables each, with the 4th line being a repeated one (refrain).
Also a small request from me to all of you to call your grandparents and talk to them today if possible π

Say hello, don’t turn away
In that old bamboo chair he sat:
“Where are they going, who is that?”
He just wanted a few warm smiles,
Just to Β catch up once in awhile.

He loved to chat, to laugh and greet,
His dear old friends he loved to meet.
Wished for people to walk that mile,
Just to catch up once in awhile.

Beautiful thought… π

Beyond the beautiful form of the poem, the message is touching and clear: the old shouldn’t be neglected. Nice work!
