Recurring theme – Terza Rima

Dear stranger, we’d once talk for hours

Details of our mundane lives, elaborate

It was all e-cards and imaginary flowers

margin-bottom: 0.2em;

We pretended our souls were one, not separate

Matchbox towers of flimsy nothing dreams

As imaginary as the fairy dust you’d create

Courage and loyalty on opposing teams,

I hope that’s not your life’s recurring theme.

It can be longer, in the same pattern and there is no restrictions on syllable count. Hope you enjoyed it and let me know what you think!
