Dear readers,
Today I am here with a Villanelle style of poem. An original villanelle poem is 19 lines long, made up of 3-line verses (tercets). It has two repeating refrains (1st and 3rd line of the first verse) and 2 rhymes throughout the poem.
I have incorporated the rules for the Villanelle here to some extent… without writing all the 19 lines.. lazy little me! I have missed yesterday’s post as well.. will definitely make up for it in the coming week.
