A song that speaks – Rondel

He stood there, singing the same love song

Living the lines with closed eyes,

His hand followed the melody’s rise,

Into the depths of the words, you dive along.

The soft husky register now powers strong,

Your tender heart strings he gently pries,

He stood there, singing the same love song,

Living the lines with closed eyes.

Music trickles within, all the night long

Some listen thoughtfully, others gently sigh

The strength of a memory, hits as a surprise

Beautiful agony between right and wrong,

He stood there, singing the same love song.
