Live – Mirror Oddquain

Wind sweeps her long hair

A rush of adrenaline

Transcend through eternity

Still waters run deep

White lotus

Dear Readers,

This is the 13th day (lucky 13!) of the OctPoWriMo Poetry Writing Challenge 2015.

The prompt today was to take a risk with your writing. The author had suggested a blitz poem. However, after the lengthy acrostic poem yesterday, I felt the real risk for me would be to write with a short, yet meaningful poem.

I decided on the Mirror Oddquain for this. Developed by Glenda L. Hand, it made up of two parts with the syllable count of 1-3-5-7-1 & 1-7-5-3-1.

Hope you enjoyed it.

Till tomorrow,
