It’s all too much

Too much on my plate

So little time to do it all

Multi task, push myself

But I’m still so overwhelmed

Where’s help when you need it

On your own, such a pressure test

Do what you can, that’s all you can do

Sometimes you just might surprise yourself.

Inhale deeply, close my eyes

Air fills up my thirsty lungs

Let it all out, stress released

I can think clearly once again.

Dear Readers,

Today is the 21st day of the OctPoWriMo Poetry Writing Challenge 2015. The prompt today was as follows:

” I challenge you to write into your feelings of overwhelm; when you feel it, how you feel it, what happens when you feel it, and what you do about it”

Thank you for reading.

Till tomorrow,
