Miracles may not always be

As obvious as you may think

These are little blessings

We forget to acknowledge

Call it mere coincidence

What if we wrote them down?

Whenever something goes in our favour

Take a moment to put it into words

–

On that bad day when everything goes wrong?

Work’s terrible, you yell at your family

Oh, and that dreadful rain!

Pick up that book, read every story

Maybe it won’t help at that time

Or perhaps  it’ll make you smile

We can’t change every situation

But our attitude, hey, that’s in our hands!
