Stretch marks, surgery scar

Burns from unskillful ironing

Facial hair, bitten nails

Loose arms, belly fat

Thick eyebrows, broad feet

Flat nose, full lips

Overweight, self righteous mess

Really couldn’t care less

Dear Readers,

This style of poetry is known as Jorio. Nice and simple, it is like cubism in poetry. 4 lines, 4 words per line. This form was invented by Anaare  from fictionpress.com.

I was introduced to this form by my dear poet friend Valida Faire. Please do read her work, she’s amazing.
